It'll be a year before they are back to normal. It'll be about 6 mos before they come back out, but they might be all wavy and weird looking for 6 more mos. You can always paint a fake nail on with nail polish, but I'd just let the nail bed heal. It's winter anyway, just cover em up until Spring!How long does it take for a toe nail to grow back?
I had one torn out playing soccer. It took about 5 months to come all the way back.
It takes a very long time to grow toe nails back. Especially the big toe, it can take up to 10 months. I would see a Dr, as I have never
heard of bruised toes having the nails fall off, unless they have
been smashed and need the blood drained out of them.
