|I always use this great stuff called NailTek nail foundation, which strengthens nails while providing nutrients to promote fast nail growth. I put it on my nails every time I go on an accidental nail-biting rampage, and they grow out really fast!

It's about $10 a bottle, and you put it on just like regular nail polish. It's a milky white color but dries clear if you only put on one or two coats, and it works best if you re-apply it fresh every week. Good luck!
A healthy nail is supposed to grow 1/8 inch a month.

Drink lots of milk. And there are a few good nail soaks you can do.

1/2 cup warm water with the ammount of lemon juice you would get from one lemon.

and if you want it to smell good you can put some essential oil in it, but thats just for smell.

or....

1/2 cup warm water,

1 tbls milk,

7-8 drops of lemon juice.

once agian you can add essential oils to make it smell good.

Lemon juice makes stronger healthier nails and makes them whiter too.

With both these recipes you should soak you nails (toe or finger nails) in it once a day for a few weeks,

even after it grows in the soaks are good to keep your nails stronger glossier and whiter and healthier. IT WORKS MIRACLES! And you can do them every day or once a week, or once a month. It's really good for your nails.

btw do each soak for 5-8 minutes each hand/foot.

hope I helped.
Roex has a hair, nail and bone vitamin that really helped my nails grow and my hair has become more healthier too...I noticed a change only after a few weeks of using this product. Its made of all natural herbs. It also promotes a healthier immune system. I absolutly love this product. You have to take six pills a day but it works!
Eat more protein. They say that a good doctor looks at your nails to determine whether or not you are in good health. You really need to eat a healthy, varied diet to have strong healthy nails, as well as healthy hair and skin.

The dietary modifications that you should consider are eating more lean red meat, fish, and poultry, plain lowfat yogurt, and nuts and seeds. Your nails are mostly composed of protein, so without adequate amounts of protein, your nails will grow thin and will become prone to chipping and breaking. Also try to get in more calcium-rich foods to strengthen your nails, such as milk, cheese, and yogurt. You should be eating about 6 ounces of protein each day (3 oz piece of chicken breast at lunch, 3 oz piece of fish at dinner, for instance) and at least 2 servings of dairy (1 cup of milk and 1 oz of cheese, for instance).

Also, if you get fake nails at the salon, stop! They are wearing out your nails and making them more fragile. Also try to take a break from nail polish because all of those chemicals also weaken your nails.

You must also make sure that you are keeping your nails well hydrated. Drink plenty of water and moisturize your nails. I like to soak mine in extra virgin olive oil for 5-10 minutes.

Good luck!
