my smooth collie ripped the out the outside of his nail off but the kwik is still there how long will it be before he can run around again and not start bleeding???How long does it take for a dog's nail to grow back?
It should only take a few days before the bleeding stops when he is active. It will take a few weeks before you'll see any new nail grow in. Don't be surprised if its different - it might be alot thicker and grow straight out.
